Candles:

Please ensure you follow these safety tips when lighting your candle.

Trim your wick to 1/8" before each and every burn. This ensures your flame does not smoke, flicker too much or rise too high. Or cause your jar to heat up to hot. 

Your First Burn needs to be 3-4 hours in order to achieve full melting pool.  A full melting pool prevents tunneling, which is excess wax build up on the side of your vessels.

Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time 

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.

Never burn your candle near anything that can catch fire.

Be sure that you place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Keep lit candles away from any drafts.

Never burn your candle all the way down. Always leave 1/2 inch of wax in the bottom of the vessel.

Never touch or move a burning candle when the wax is liquid.

Place burning candles at least 4 inches apart from one another.

Never use water to extinguish our candle.

Spray 1–2 pumps into the air or directly onto fabrics (12 inches away). Reapply as desired. Avoid contact with skin and pets.

Remove the cap from the glass bottle.

Insert 8–10 reeds for optimal scent throw.

Flip reeds after they’ve soaked (within 24 hours) and once weekly to refresh fragrance.

Add more reeds to intensify the scent or remove a few for a subtler effect.

Room & Linen Sprays:

Shake well prior to each use. Use 1-2 sprays 12 inches from fabrics, or spray directly into open air! Increase or decrease number of sprays used at once to your liking.

Do not drink or spray on your body.

Keep away from children.

Reed Diffuser:

Remove cap from bottle. Start by inserting 6-8 reeds directly into the bottle. Add more reeds for a stronger scent. For best results flip reeds later that day or the next. Then flip reeds once per week or as needed to refresh the scent.

How strong are the scents?

Can I reuse or recycle the candle jars?

Absolutely. Once the candle is finished, clean out any remaining wax and reuse the jar for storage, décor, or small plants. Our jars are designed to be both functional and reusable.

Yes. Every Tildy candle is hand-poured in small batches to ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
